HECHT GG 3300W is a medium-sized gasoline electricity generator powered by a 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 208 cm3. The generator's control panel features an analog voltmeter, a pair of standard sockets for connecting devices at 230V/50Hz, including a safety terminal for grounding cable connection. Both sockets are protected against overload by a circuit breaker. Additionally, there is one 12V DC socket on the panel for connecting devices powered by 12V, which can also be used for charging certain types of 12V batteries. However, it does not have charging regulation, so it is necessary to monitor the battery charge level continuously and disconnect it on time. This 12V socket is also equipped with a circuit breaker.
The continuous output power of the generator is 2600W, and it can be temporarily loaded, for example, with the starting current of some devices up to a maximum of 3000W.
The generator is mounted in the base frame using rubber blocks to dampen vibration transmission. It can be easily carried by this frame, and its weight is 48 kg. The noise level produced is 96 dB.
The generator is equipped with AVR regulation (Automatic Voltage Regulation), which prevents voltage fluctuations when the load on the generator changes.
The electricity generator has a 15-liter fuel tank. It is ideal as a backup power source in case of emergencies and can also be useful in areas without access to the electrical grid. It can be used, for example, as a backup power source for circulating pumps in some solid fuel boilers, and more.
The voltage output characteristics of the generator differ from those of a standard electrical network. Therefore, we strongly recommend consulting with the manufacturer or seller regarding the powering options for certain electronic devices (such as computers, modern TVs, etc.). Some electrical devices may temporarily draw several times the normal operating current when starting up, especially for devices like electric motors and other inductive devices, which can draw more than three times the normal power temporarily. For calculation purposes, you can use the so-called Starting Coefficient, which needs to be multiplied by the normal power consumption of the connected device.
For instance, a coefficient of 1 would apply to devices like hair dryers, heat guns, fryers, blenders, ovens, irons, sandwich makers, vacuum cleaners, desk lamps. A coefficient of 2 usually applies to electric lawnmowers, angle grinders, hedge trimmers, electric saws, washing machines, and more. For compressors, pressure washers, concrete mixers, a coefficient of 3 typically applies, while for refrigerators, freezers, or air conditioners, this coefficient can even exceed 3. In practice, you can roughly calculate that a device with a power consumption of 600W and a coefficient of 2 would require a generator with a maximum output of at least 1200W.
(Engine power data is measured at 3600 rpm. The machine does not reach this power during normal use. For an accurate comparison of engine power, use the engine's displacement and type data.)
