The band saws of the parent company Scheppach have received numerous awards in the past, both in surveys of end customers and from the professional public. Scheppach has transferred much of its know-how to a band saw designed for the general public. The Scheppach HBS 30 band saw is an ideal solution for demanding hobby users or semi-professional workshops that require fast and precise cutting in materials such as plastic or hard and soft wood. The machine is based on a powerful induction motor, a steel frame, and a solid expandable table that can be tilted from 0° to 45° and extended from 380 to 520 mm. For precise straight cuts, the table is equipped with a sliding ruler with a quick-release lever. The guiding rollers of the saw blade prevent the saw blade from deviating, ensuring very precise cuts even on this basic model. Due to the frame construction, the cutting capacity of 80 mm is also sufficient. Changing the saw blade is very easy thanks to the system of tilting the entire side wall. The compact dimensions of the machine are advantageous especially for smaller workshops, but they also make it easy to handle and transport the machine. Holes are prepared in the base for securely attaching the band saw to the workbench. The machine comes with three saw blades with tooth counts of 6/10/15 per inch.
