The Scheppach Deco-XLS scroll saw is very easy to control thanks to the new foot controller, even when cutting very complex shapes. You can set the necessary speed on the machine and then simply turn it on or off with a light press on the foot pedal whenever you need to. This way, you have both hands free at all times and can control the precise movement of the workpiece during cutting. The saw is a great tool for model makers and DIY enthusiasts. It can cut precise and intricate shapes in wood, plastic, metal, plexiglass, and other materials. The key is a very powerful motor with adjustable speeds. The very sturdy parallel arm and almost vibration-free mounting of the saw blade, together with the correctly chosen speed, allow for perfectly clean cuts. A transparent safety cover of the saw blade ensures perfect visual control of the workpiece, adjustable working LED lighting with a separate switch, and a sawdust extraction system from the cutting path. The work table is adjustable at an angle of up to 45°. Another advantage is the quick and easy blade change system using a quick-release button and the option to mount a saw blade on the saw with either a safety pin or a smooth end. The Scheppach saw also has a chip extraction connector and mounting holes in the base for secure attachment to the workbench.
